Our Story
Welcome to The Daily Dozen Poultry Farm, a small family-operated farm rooted in Mitchell, Nebraska, where passion for animals meets a commitment to health, sustainability, and community.
Our journey began in 2020, when we started raising chickens as a way to connect with our food and spend more meaningful time together as a family. What started with a few hens quickly grew into something more—a deep appreciation for poultry, a desire to raise our birds right, and an opportunity to teach our kids the values of hard work, responsibility, and compassion.
Since then, we’ve expanded to include quail and ducks, raising each species with care and respect. Our birds free-range, enjoying open space to roam, scratch, and forage naturally. We feed them a diet of high-quality grains, oyster shells, and nutrient-rich treats, because we believe healthy birds lay the best eggs.
We currently offer farm-fresh quail and chicken eggs, and we’re excited to introduce duck eggs soon. Every dozen we sell reflects our values:
